Reviews from our visitors to Greaves Farm Caravan and Camping Site, Cabus, Garstang.

Ray and I have spent many good weekends and holidays at Greaves Farm. We have always found Mark and Tracy to be very friendly and helpful.

Greaves Farm is a very peaceful site but the seaside town of Blackpool, Scorton village and the historical city of Lancaster are within easy reach.

There are also many local attractions which make Greaves Farm an excellent place to spend a relaxing break.

The History of Greaves Farm.

The present farmhouse was built in 1686.

Over 100 years later during the 1790's the Lancaster Canal was dug out just to the east of Greaves Farm. Goods including lime and manure could now be easily transported and local trading especially for farmers was greatly improved.

The farm has witnessed the many twists and turns in local history over the years, then in 1957 Bob and Olive Houghton bought the farm as a newly married couple.

In the early 1980's pig farming here ceased and Greaves Farm welcomed its first caravan visitors.
